Strictly necessary cookies
If you sign in, we use HttpOnly, Secure session and refresh cookies (scoped to your account, and separately to an Olympus community login where applicable) to keep you signed in, plus a small CSRF-protection cookie. Cloudflare Turnstile may set a short-lived verification cookie when it runs an anti-bot check on an action such as search or chat. These are essential and cannot be turned off without breaking the corresponding feature.
Analytics
We run our own first-party analytics (page views, time on page, approximate country, referrer) without a tracking cookie. Separately, Google Analytics sets its own cookies to measure traffic and usage on our behalf.
Advertising
We show ads through Google AdSense, which sets its own cookies and may use device identifiers to personalize the ads you see and measure how they perform.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings — this will sign you out of any account and may disable search protections that rely on Turnstile. You can manage Google's ad personalization directly at adssettings.google.com, and opt out of Google Analytics with Google's official browser add-on.
Third parties
Google (Sign-In, Analytics and AdSense) and Cloudflare (security, content delivery and Turnstile) each set their own cookies, governed by their own privacy policies, independent of ours.
