Who we are
LeagueLiveStats is a free companion site for League of Legends players: player profiles, match history, live match tracking, comparisons and the champion meta, built on Riot Games' official APIs. League of Legends is a trademark of Riot Games, Inc.; LeagueLiveStats is not endorsed by or affiliated with Riot Games. This policy explains what personal data we process and why, in line with the GDPR.
Data you give us
You can browse every public feature — player search, match history, live tracking, comparisons, leaderboards — without an account. If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture to run your LeagueLiveStats account.
Data we collect automatically
For security and to understand overall traffic we process technical data such as your IP address, approximate country, browser and device type, the pages you visit, how long you stay, referring site and whether an ad blocker is detected. This is first-party analytics we operate ourselves; it is not shared with third parties. Separately, Google Analytics and Google AdSense set their own cookies and process technical data for traffic measurement and ad personalization — see our Cookie Policy for details.
Riot ID and match data
When you search a Riot ID or view a match, we query Riot Games' official API for that publicly available League of Legends data (rank, champion stats, match history and similar) and may cache it to keep the site fast. Searching or viewing another player's public Riot ID does not make it your personal data under this policy.
Security and abuse prevention
We log technical details of requests — IP address, user agent and the route accessed — to rate-limit abusive traffic, block malicious IPs and keep an audit trail of administrative actions. Cloudflare Turnstile may run an anti-bot check on certain actions (e.g. search) and sets its own verification cookie; see Google's and Cloudflare's own privacy policies for how they process that data.
How we use your data
We use it to run your account when you sign in, to keep the platform secure (rate limiting and abuse prevention), to understand overall traffic and usage, and to show ads through Google AdSense. We never sell your personal data.
Legal basis
We rely on the performance of our service (running your account when you sign in), our legitimate interest in keeping the platform secure and understanding usage, and your consent for advertising and analytics cookies.
Sharing your data
We share data with the processors needed to run the service: Google (Sign-In, Analytics, AdSense) and Cloudflare (security and content delivery, including Turnstile). We query Riot Games' API to fetch public League of Legends data; we do not send your account data (name, email, Google profile) to Riot. We do not sell personal data to anyone.
Retention
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above. Security and abuse-prevention logs are kept for a limited window and then deleted. Deleting your account deactivates it immediately and signs out every active session; the record is retained in a soft-deleted state so you can reactivate it by signing in with Google again, and is purged after a further retention period.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may access, correct, export or delete your data and withdraw consent at any time. You can delete your own account directly from your Account page at any time. For any other request, contact [email protected].
Children
LeagueLiveStats is not directed at children and is not intended for use by anyone below the minimum age required to use League of Legends and Riot's own services in their country.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time; continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
